About Me

Born and raised in Peterborough, I grew up in the West End on Crowley Cres, and Monaghan Ward is still my home today.

My background in IT and my work at GM Financial has given me experience in problem solving, leadership, and delivering results in complex environments. I’ve brought that same approach to City Council.

Serving this community as a City Councillor for the last four years has been an incredible honour. I care deeply about Peterborough and its future, and I’m committed to continuing the work needed to make it an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.

Delivering Results That Matter

Over the past four years as a Peterborough City Councillor, I’ve focused on delivering outcomes that make a real difference in people’s day-to-day lives.

From deep investment in infrastructure to supporting economic growth and strengthening city services, this City Council has taken important steps forward. I’ve worked to ensure those decisions are practical, responsible, and focused on long-term sustainability.

We’ve made progress, but there is still more to do and my focus remains on continuing to improve services, investing wisely, and ensuring that every decision reflects the needs of our community.

Open, Responsive, and Accountable
One of the things I’m most proud of is how I’ve tried to stay connected with residents in our Ward.
When people reach out to me for answers, they know they'll get a response.
When there are questions about decisions at City Hall, I work to provide clear answers.
When concerns are raised, I make sure they are brought forward.

In the past, residents felt like they were disconnected from their local government representatives. I’ve made it a priority to change that by being accessible, transparent, and present in the community.

I feel that good decisions come from strong communication, and I will continue to ensure your voice is heard!

Building a Safer, Stronger Community

A strong community is one where people feel safe, supported, and confident in the direction of their city.

Over the past term, we’ve taken steps to address complex challenges related to community safety, accessibility, downtown revitalization, and the impacts of homelessness and addiction.

There are no simple solutions in a city where so many services and programs are interconnected, but progress requires a balanced approach. That means supporting enforcement where necessary, while also investing in long-term solutions that address the root causes.

I will continue working with community partners, local businesses, and residents to ensure our neighbourhoods remain safe, welcoming, and vibrant.

Supporting People and Growing Opportunity

Peterborough is growing, and with that growth comes both opportunity and responsibility.
We need to ensure that growth benefits everyone. That means improving access to housing, supporting those who need it most, and continuing to strengthen our local economy.

This includes advancing initiatives that support workforce development, attracting investment, and improving access to healthcare in our community.

At the same time, we need to ensure that housing and growth is done responsibly, and not in a way that jeopardizes the atmosphere of our small, residential neighborhoods. As well, we need to continue to support our most vulnerable residents by ensuring services are available, accessible, and effective.

A strong city is one where people have the opportunity to succeed and the support they need when they need it.
